Our Emelar Family Grieves for Tyler Cowman
A statement from Emelar Consulting Group Founder & CEO Jesse Theiler:
April 26, 2021
“I was devastated to hear of the unexpected passing of our friend and fellow Salesforce lover Tyler Cowman this past weekend. The Emelar family collectively grieves the loss of not only an exceptional person, but also for Tyler’s’ family. We pass along our deepest condolences to the entire Cowman family.
I speak for all of us at Emelar when I say there is a hole in our collective hearts that will never be filled, and the world is a bit darker because of his passing.
Tyler launched his consulting career here with our Emelar family after many years at Salesforce in the CPQ space. We were so lucky to have him as a part of our family for nearly a year and a half.
He left Emelar just a few weeks ago and we were so sad to see him go, not because of what he knew but because of the person he was. Tyler brought a humble charisma, big smile, and huge heart with him every single day while at Emelar. He was thoughtful and caring and was always willing to help others no matter how big the problem or how small the ask.
Tyler was always such a joy to be around. In our team meetings he would share a helpful health and safety tip or trick. I will always remember the time he shared the health benefits of eating blueberries in a way only Tyler could.
I spoke with Tyler just a few days before his passing and though we only spoke for a few minutes, he talked about his family in Pennsylvania, his pets and how he missed us. Indicative of his caring nature, he asked how everyone at Emelar was doing and asked me to “say hi to everyone there” at Emelar.
Tyler, now that you have gone to the big concert in the sky, a little too soon for the rest of us, please say “Hi” to Jerry and ask him to help me sing “Uncle Johns’ Band” a little better. Godspeed my friend, we’ll miss you and we’ll see you again.”
